Here’s your chance to see if you can hang with one of the great ones.

Freeskier phenom and Hood River native Sammy Carlson will make an appearance December 27 at Mt. Hood Meadows to meet fans and take a few park laps.

Carlson is a five-time Winter X-Games Slopestyle medalist and winner of the 2013 X Games Real Ski Backcountry People’s Choice Award.

Sammy will meet and greet fans at 10 am, Friday, December 27 on the South Lodge Deck at Meadows, and then head up to the hill to make a few runs.
