Timberline will host its annual Mountain Music Festival with music, food and refreshments on Labor Day, Monday, September 7.
Veteran singer and songwriter Jonathan Edwards will headline a varied lineup of musicians playing from 12:30-6:30 pm at Timberline’s Historic Outdoor Amphitheater.
Jonathan Edwards has released fifteen albums over his four-decade career and written and performed hits such as Sunshine (Go Away Today), Sometimes, Shanty, and Don’t Cry Blue. His new CD, Tomorrow’s Child, was produced by Grammy-nominated Darrell Scott and features Vince Gill, Shawn Colvin, Jerry Douglass and Allison Krauss.
Edwards will take the stage at 5 pm for an hour-and-a-half set.

Nashville-based singer-songwriter Liz Longley, 2-3. Longley is a recent Berklee School of Music graduate and winner of the John Lennon Songwriting Scholarship Competition.
The four-piece indie folk band Darlingside, 3:30-4:30.
