Thursday, March 12: Mountain Films to Support Portland Mountain Rescue

Here is an opportunity to see some excellent films at the Aladdin Theater while supporting a volunteer organization that saves lives on Mount Hood.

The Telluride MountainFilm Festival  on the road, and its March 12 date in Portland is sponsored by the Mountain Shop to raise money for Portland Mountain Rescue, a non-profit volunteer organization dedicated to saving lives three search and rescue and education.

The event is set for 7pm Thursday, March 12 at the Aladdin Theater, 3017 SE Milwaukie Ave. in Portland. Doors open at 6 pm and tickets are $17 in advance or $22 at the door.

The event will be jam-packed with 14 short films, brief speeches and an equipment raffle for mountain enthusiasts.
