Nov. 20: Snowrider Portland Snocial

Join a group of folks passionate about keeping Mt. Hood clean and pristine for a night of beer, stories and organizing.

The Snowrider Project is an offshoot of the Surfrider Project, dedicated to clean water and watershed stewardship. The group organizes annual clean-up days at the headwaters of the Salmon River on Mount Hood and educates the public about the hydrological cycle.

The group has scheduled an open meeting for 7:30 pm Thursday, November 20 at Migration Brewing in Portland, 2828 NE Glisan. The purpose of the meeting is “to share ideas about future involvement and network with each other in person rather than online.”
