ReRack is giving away a $500 cargo box as part of its Food Bank fundraiser Sunday

Portland’s ReRack shop will hold a big fundraiser for the Oregon Food Bank on Sunday, October 19, with food trucks, beer and wine, a Burton Riglet Park, and the Love Bomb Go-Go Marching Band, along with prizes ranging from Mt. Hood Meadows lift tickets to a $500 cargo box.

The free event is scheduled from Noon until 5 pm Sunday at ReRack’s Portland shop at 2240 NE Sandy Boulevard. Love Bomb Go-Go kicks off the music at 2 pm and the raffle is scheduled for 4 pm.

GoPro, Dakine, Meadows, the Portland Winterhawks, Camelback and Yakima are all donating prizes, so come check it out and bring a few cans of food for the hungry. You get one raffle ticket for each can of food donated to the Oregon Food Bank.

ReRack is on its way to becoming the Powell’s Books of car racks for hauling skis, snowboards, bikes and anything else you need to attach to the roof of your vehicle. The company is also a steadfast supporter of events on Mount Hood.
