High Cascade partners with Shaun White’s coach for its second summer session

High Cascade Snowboard Camp will collaborate with Bud Keene and BKPRO Camps for Session 2 of its summer camp June 26-July 3.

Keene is the long-time coach of two-time Olympic gold medalist Shaun White and recently worked with 2014 halfpipe gold medalist Kaitlyn Farrington. He is the founder of BK Progression Camps out of Stowe, Vermont.

“I am super-stoked to be bringing BKPRO Camps to HCSC!” said Keene. “Their reputation for excellent snow features has made HCSC my choice for summer training for years. It’s great to formalize that relationship, and I am excited to combine forces to offer the most powerful summer training opportunity in North America!”

Keene plans to employ a “one-step-at-a-time” approach to guide High Cascade campers safely through the camp’s terrain park features, which include an Olympic size 22’ Superpipe, slopestyle jumps and two BagJumps™ integrated into a superpipe and slopestyle jump.

High Cascade Snowboard camps feature a camper-to-coach ratio of 6:1, guest appearances by top riders, daily video reviews and a wide variety of terrain park features. They also offer access (for the first time this summer) to the facilities of Windells Camps, following the recent partnership between High Cascade and Windells to form the new Mount Hood-based company We Are Camp.

The BKPRO Session with Coach Bud Keene will run from June 26 to July 3 at a cost of $2,695 for campers who stay at the Cascade Ski Club & Lodge and $2,995 for campers who stay in Government Camp chalets. For more information click here.
