Cascade Winter Sports Club will host a torchlight parade, a happy hour meet-and-greet and an Olympic viewing party Saturday to celebrate the U.S. Ski and Snowboard Association’s National Club Day Saturday at Timberline.

Founded in 2008, CWSC is one of more than 400 USSA skiing and snowboarding clubs for young Olympic hopefuls, with youth racing and training programs year-round on Mount Hood.

A torch parade with a cowbell soundtrack is scheduled to start at 3 pm at Timberline, followed by a no-host happy hour in the lodge and a viewing of the Men’s super-combined starring Bode Miller and Ted Ligety and the Women’s GS starring Mikaela Shiffrin and Julia Mancuso in the Barlow Room at 5:30 pm.
