Hood River locals who want to hit the Brewfest Saturday without risking icy roads can catch a bus from the Hood River News parking lot.

The bus will leave at 10 am and return from the resort at 5 pm. A round-trip ticket costs $10. The address of Hood River News is 419 W State St, Hood River, OR.

The cost of the Brewfest is $12, which gets you a glass mug and four beverage tickets. Everybody’s Brewing, Double Mountain, Laurelwood, Widmer, Full Sail, Mt. Hood Winery, Hood River Ciderworks and Naked Winery will be serving their latest creations.

The Portland band World’s Finest will play from 1-5 pm. Here’s how they describe their sound on their Facebook page: “Funky Punky Acoustic Dub Ska Honkytonk Reggae Jam Bluegrass Rowdiness!!!”

Meadows also has Park and Ride services from the Portland area to the resort starting up this weekend, with pick-ups at Beaverton, Tualatin and Gateway. A round-trip ticket costs $25 or can be bundled into a $79 day pass ($59 for juniors). For details click here.
