Cascade Ski Club will hold an open house at its lodge in the middle of Government Camp on the evening of Saturday, December 7.

There will be free food and refreshments, plus information about a club with a colorful history and the most affordable lodging options on Mount Hood.

Cascade Ski Club was founded in 1928 by Norwegian ski jumpers. The club offers $15-a-night bunk lodging and inexpensive meals in Government Camp at the club lodge, a mountain gathering place since 1947.
