Friday night at Grand Central: Mt. Hood Snowboard Art, Winter Fashion Models and Beer

The Widmer Brothers are rolling out their 2013 Brr Seasonal Ale with a Big Chill party featuring snowboard art, models and beer at the Grand Central Restaurant and Bowling Lounge in Portland Friday night.

There will be free custom glassware available for the beer-drinking public and a collection of snowboard art for purchase through silent auction.

The snowboard art is donated by Mt. Hood Meadows and features local artists Dave Banks, Devin Ryan, Janessa Bork, Eugene Good, Jason Sturgill, Tina Snow Le and more. Proceeds from the 20-piece auction upstairs in the Grand Central Gallery will benefit the Portland-based Snowdays Foundation, dedicated to youth empowerment through snowboarding.

Downstairs in the bowling alley, models from Jillian Rabe Productions will exhibit the latest in winter fashion, using a bowling lane for a catwalk.

DJs will be spinning until 1 am.

The event is sponsored by Widmer Brothers Brewing, Grand Central Restaurant and Bowling Lounge, Snowdays Foundation, Aveda Institute Portland, Evo, Mt. Hood Meadows, Jillian Rabe Productions and Powder Magazine.
