Friday, Nov. 8 in Portland: Nostalgia at the Refuge

Well known Mount Hood freeskiers Tommy Ellingson and Josh Larkin will screen their new production Nostalgia at the Refuge in Portland November 8, with tons of free stuff from sponsors and an open bar for attendees over 21.

Ellingson and Larkin spent the past year ripping Mount Hood from top to bottom, catching sick air and gobbling up powder. Nostalgia shows the highlights of their season, along with appearances from a creative crew of Mount Hood shredders.

Ellingson is the host of the web TV show Home Grown, which runs on inspiredmedia.com, and his enthusiasm for everything having to do with skiing and Mount Hood is contagious. Larkin, who doubles as the founder of Solution Clothing, co-produced Nostalgia with Ellingson and also stars on the home page of the Mt. Hood Meadows website, ripping through a steep powder line in a gorgeous photo by Richard Hallman.

Larkin and Ellingson are a lot of fun to watch on the slopes, and it will be interesting to see what they come up with for their Portland premiere. The event is open to all ages, with an open bar for those over 21.
