What happens when Oregon’s top high school racers and their coaches and families descend on super-steep Mt. Ashland for year-end championship racing?
Robin Cressy was on the scene covering the action for Shred Hood all week, and he put together this 15-minute documentary about the 2016 Oregon Alpine Racing Championships on a quick turnaround.
As always, Robin captures the camaraderie and fun of high school racing in Oregon, with lots of smiling faces, jokes and positive attitudes. Plus some weird off-the-wall humor. And a whole lot of love for Mt. Ashland, which has been shut out of skiing all too often in recent years for lack of snow. Good to have some snow down there for the big event – looks like it went over real well.
