The new Spring Park designed by Snow Park Technologies for Mt. Hood Meadows has been a huge hit with park riders, chairlift gawkers and photographers like Grant Myrdal.
Grant has been shooting the Spring Park action over from all sorts of angles, including lying flat on the snow just below the lip of the first big jump to shoot straight up into the sun, with high-flying shredders looking down toward the lens in flight. Below is Robbie Walsh of the Meadows Parks Crew catching some air.
Riders from all over North America and even China have swung by Grant’s photo booth to check out his Spring Park pics.
The Spring Park has 4,600 feet of terrain and a 1,000-foot vertical drop down Catacombs to Daisy Bowl and into the 18-foot Meadows Superpipe.

With a 109-inch base as of April 21, Meadows will be open daily through April 27, Friday through Sunday for the first two weekends of May, and Saturday, May 17.
