The Sandy Ski Team has about 25 skiers this season between racers and freestylers. They do dryland workouts 4 days a week until the ski areas open, then head up to Hood to hit the gates and the parks. Josh Kanable is in his 5th year as head coach, and Coach Pat Potter takes the lead with the freestylers.

Warren Miller’s Chasing Shadows co-stars Mount Hood summer racing coach Marcus Caston along with the usual cast of superhuman skiers and snowboarders: speed flier extraordinaire JT Holmes, World Cup downhiller Steven Nyman, Olympic snowcross champ Seth Wescott, ski mountaineer Caroline Gleich, and many more.
