Anyone with the gear and will to climb to 10,000 feet for the solstice is welcome to join 5th Annual Illumination Saddle Summer Solstice Function on Mount Hood June 21.

The event is organized by Asit Rathod and his Mount Hood friends, with food, music, costumes and whiskey.

Last year Tommy Ellingson and his crew provided the entertainment with some amazing tricks off a nearby jump.

One key rule to this year’s event: No Guns, please.
