Portland’s fast-rising indy ski company ON3P will present a double film feature at the Alberta Rose Theatre Tuesday night with a Halloween costume contest, athlete appearances, free stuff from sponsors and an after-party at the Doug Fir.
ON3P was founded in 2009 in Portland by Scott Andrus and has grown steadily into one of the most popular indy brands out there. They make all their skis in Portland with eight employees at peak production times and six full-time, year-round jobs. They also sponsor a team of 15 freeskiers.
The event at the Alberta Rose will kick off with athlete appearances at 6:30 pm followed by screenings of All Damn Day at 7:30 and Tracing Skylines at 9. A late-night party for anyone over 21 will be held at the Doug Fir Lounge.
All Damn Day is the new production from 4bi9 Media, a crew of New School shredders who revel in urban footage with lots of chain link fences and concrete walls in addition to the tried-and-true “jump over the road” trick. Here’s a teaser:

Tracing Skylines is a collaboration between Red Bull Media House and Poor Boyz Productions, and it’s one of those “trip of a lifetime” films that takes you deep into unknown territories, from Chamonix to Detroit to Alaska. Here’s a taste:
